My Lindsey is Home!

We have one Lindsey in our home that belongs to my daughter, but I wanted one of my own. I was never good at sharing as a kid and I am only worst as an adult so I finally bid on one from eBay and won. I was nervous because I forgot to ask if she was smoke-free. Thankfully, she smells like a new doll.

She took an extra 3 days to get here and the waiting was painful. I sewed her a couple of outfits to help with the waiting.

I love my Lindsey doll (her name is Rachel and she's a historical in my home).

Awww too cute in those jammies! Was that the Simplicity Dummies pattern? I used that one and really liked how it turned out. I knew it would be cuter with buttons like you made it though. Your Lindsey is just beautiful!

My eBay Lindsey had to go to AGH for a new head and her hair doesn't flip like that at all [img]graemlins/wonder.gif[/img] --of course it beats the torn, split ends from brushing head that came with her. I always thought when they give a doll a head, it's a new one since someone had mentioned there were plenty of Lindsey and Kailey heads for future repairs.

It's curly but more tousled like the Lindsey from the book. Probably just another difference because I've seen both kinds in the albums. Very cute album, I'll have to look at your other ones now! Oh and I love that dress you made, it goes so nicely with her blue eyes!
